"When I first saw Van Gogh's Vase with Flowers I couldn't take my eyes off it. It was at the Dallas Museum of Art as part of an exhibition titled: Bouquets. I think I came back to it 3 different times. It seemed so simple yet so appealing. The colors so bold and the technique seems almost violent and rushed. I knew I had to try and paint it." corbyn
